WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY
Listen to what others have said that have used my collision reconstruction in prosecuting cases and in ensuring a just litigation settlement through my forensic services.
“(Marc) Boardman has appeared before me several times in both district and superior court as an expert witness in the field of accident reconstruction. In all cases he testified from a vast knowledge of his subject, presenting information to the fact-finder in a meticulous, organized fashion. Additionally, he is always persuasive: I cannot recall a case he did not “win”.
I find I am always relieved when Trooper Boardman presents as a witness. As the judge, I know his position, at least, will be thoroughly and competently represented. I also know that what he says is what happened – his word is his bond, and he is utterly trustworthy…”
It is my privilege to write a letter of reference for Marc Boardman as he applies to become ACTAR certified.
Trooper Boardman has supported the department’s collision investigation program since I have known him. Marc has been instrumental in the work that the Washington State Patrol’s Collision Investigation Committee (CIC) has done to improve the quality of professional collision investigations conducted by law enforcement in the State of Washington.
Marc always conducts a thorough, professional, and in-depth investigation. He has established a reputation in the patrol as an excellent collision investigator and has received praises from his peers, prosecutors and defense attorneys. Trooper Boardman has years of experience as a collision reconstructionist. He can be counted on to represent his profession in a positive light and perform his duties to the best of his abilities.
“As a deputy prosecuting attorney, I was privileged (and, maybe, darned lucky) to have Marc as an expert witness in vehicular homicide trials during his time with the Washington State Patrol. He is a capable, clear witness, able to explain technical details to the jury in a lucid, engaging manner. I have also worked with Marc on a number of other collision reconstruction cases, some resulting in criminal charges and, more important, some in which Marc’s work exonerated an innocent driver. He was unfailingly professional and helpful. I cannot recommend him highly enough.”
I just wanted to take a moment and thank you for taking the time yesterday to testify in regards to the D****** matter. I greatly appreciate the professionalism and the level of preparedness that you exhibited during your testimony. Your testimony was extremely helpful in tying together the facts of this case and should greatly help the trier of fact to ascertain the truth…

I have worked with Marc Boardman since 2001. During that time I have had the opportunity to observe Trooper Boardman’s expertise in the area of collision reconstruction on numerous occasions. On at least two occasions cases prepared by Trooper Boardman involving collision reconstructions have proceeded to jury trials. In both of those instances Trooper Boardman’s attention to detail and meticulous work have allowed the Klickitat County Superior Court to qualify him as an expert witness in this field. Both trials resulted in convictions. In discussing the cases with the jurors they all voiced their appreciation for Trooper Boardman’s knowledge and ability to relay information to the jury.
As a deputy prosecuting attorney I know when I receive reports from Trooper Marc Boardman that they will be thorough and complete. I know that if Trooper Boardman reaches a conclusion in a collision reconstruction I can trust his opinion completely. Based on all of the work I have done with Trooper Boardman over the years it is my honor and privilege to provide this endorsement of him. If you have any further questions please contact me at any time.

I am available to assist in any of your personal injury cases that involve motor vehicle collisions. I render 3D graphic scale scenes to augment my reconstruction reports and often use animations to demonstrate my time and distance analysis for clients using FARO Zone 3D, the leading reconstruction software and CGI engine in the industry. I find that demonstrating visually what I have calculated mathematically is very compelling for the ultimate trier of fact in litigations.
