Trooper Boardman has supported the department’s collision investigation program since I have known him.  Marc has been instrumental in the work that the Washington State Patrol’s Collision Investigation Committee (CIC) has done to improve the quality of professional collision investigations conducted by law enforcement in the State of Washington. 
 
Marc always conducts a thorough, professional, and in-depth investigation.  He has established a reputation in the patrol as an excellent collision investigator and has received praises from his peers, prosecutors and defense attorneys.  Trooper Boardman has years of experience as a collision reconstructionist.  He can be counted on to represent his profession in a positive light and perform his duties to the best of his abilities.

I have worked with Marc Boardman since 2001.  During that time I have had the opportunity to observe Trooper Boardman’s expertise in the area of collision reconstruction on numerous occasions.  On at least two occasions cases prepared by Trooper Boardman involving collision reconstructions have proceeded to jury trials.  In both of those instances Trooper Boardman’s attention to detail and meticulous work have allowed the Klickitat County Superior Court to qualify him as an expert witness in this field.  Both trials resulted in convictions.  In discussing the cases with the jurors they all voiced their appreciation for Trooper Boardman’s knowledge and ability to relay information to the jury.
